15 Internet applications for students

This blogger lists the 15 Internet tools he thinks all students should use. I think this is mostly for college students, but might have some application to high school. I like that he cites some of the technologies we’ll learn about this semester, like Diigo. In fact, notice the highlighting and sticky notes on the page–that’s from using Diigo. So it’s a good example of how to use this tool.

BTW, I’m going to keep posting ideas like this on my blog throughout the semester. We won’t have time to try out all the technologies I talk about, so I’m just going to let you know of what they are in case you ever want to learn about them in the future. I thought of using a textbook for the class, but the textbook gets so old and outdated so quickly because technology is always changing. So that’s why instead of a textbook, I’m asking you to read my blog and join our Diigo group.

Have a great day!
