About This Blog

This blog is primarily used as a companion to my IPT 286 Technology for Teachers courses. In addition, it is my Personal Learning Environment for the topic of technology integration, where I post thoughts, links, resources, and ideas related to using technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.

Blog Author: Dr. Richard E. West is an assistant professor in the Instructional Psychology and Technology department at Brigham Young University. His research is in K-16 technology integration, educational evaluation/research methods, online learning, and communities of practice/learning/innovation. While this blog focuses on technology integration issues, his main blog is where he shares thoughts, journal articles, and conference presentations related to his other professional interests.
