Each week to earn a participation point you need to:
- Fully participate and be engaged in meaningful discussions in class (if you are in the face-to-face class) or in the Canvas course modules (if you are in the online class).
- Review the blogs of your peers and discuss ideas you gained from them, or from our class discussion, on your own blog. This is important so you can take what we’ve talked about in class, or what you have learned through the assignments, and then get ideas about how it can be applied in your specific subject area by your peers. You do not need to review everyone’s blog each week, but at least two or three after each assignment.
I will grade the participation scores at the end of each month, after I review everyone’s discussions on the blogs.

So I tried to comment on an internet communication project for someone in my class, and they deleted my comment. Isn’t commenting on the blogs of people in our class what we are supposed to do for participation credit?
On my blog, due to personal circumstances, I had to set my comments to be mediated before they will be posted. So it might not be reviewed by the owner yet. Or, the owner of the blog did not recognize you as a member of the class. Those are my guesses.
