The Personal Technology Projects (PTPs) are more open-ended, allowing you to explore whatever digital technologies you think might be useful for YOU in your future teaching. The objective here is relevance: Try to consider what you can spend a few weeks learning that you will be able to apply to your own teaching. To receive full credit for this portion of the class, you need to earn 10 points. To earn these points, follow these steps:
- Go to the PTP website
- Click on your subject area and peruse the list of possible technologies you can learn
- When you choose a technology, click on its link to get to a page with tutorials, resources, and directions for completing the assignment.
- Learning some technologies will count as 5 points, some 10 points, and some 10 points, based on how difficult the technologies may be to learn. You can choose to earn your 15 points by any combination of completed PTPs.
