I hope that you will gain skills in this class that you can use in your own teaching, but we have many different kinds of teachers taking our class with various different levels of technology skills. The Personal Technology Projects allow all of you to learn what would be most relevant to you, because you get to choose what you will learn.
To get full credit on your Personal Technology Projects (PTPs), you need to earn 10 points. You earn points by selecting a new technology to learn, learning how to use it, and then reporting your learning on your blog. Easier technologies are worth 5 points, while more difficult technologies are worth more. It is up to you which technologies you learn, and how you go about earning your 10 points.
We have created a separate website that lists all the potential technologies you can learn, and how many points each are worth. Go to the website and click the link for your subject area.
Note that you can also propose learning a new technology that is not on the list. Make sure to propose this to me and get it approved first.
